How to change default pointing AXDB in D365FO in Dev Box

K:\AosService\WebRoot\web.config this is the path of config file where we can open with notepad and change DB name. Above blog shows how to do it.

My scenario is take DB backup instead restoring on same AXDB create New AXDB with different Name Eg AxDB_Test.

Restore the New DB and change the Web.Config file Instead of AxDB put “AxDB_Test”

Take backup of your old web.Config file before you change it. This way we can always switch between multiple DBs.
